My Family

My family is great! I live with my family in a house on a street somewhere in a small city north of Austin, Texas. We have a mom (Anne) , two daughters and a dad (me). Hannah is 11 and Sarah is 7. We are a typical family in many ways - we have 2 cars, live in a suburban home and like to do things together. We are not so typical in some other ways - we have chickens in our backyard along with a fish pond and we teach our kids at home. This practice called 'home schooling' and started years ago with just a handful of people, has grown to be a very popular way of teaching with thousands of people participating. There is a huge amount of curricula and other resources available to home schoolers today.
